There isn't a whole lot of information on it and we had to make a few modifications to make it an easy build. Thanks to research assistance from the \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/tilghmanmuseum.org\/\" title=\"Tilghman Waterman's Museum\"\u003eTilghman Watermen's Museum\u003c\/a\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, we know that the Til Maid started life as a US Government-purchased, all-wood barge that was used to transport ammunition up and down the Chesapeake Bay during WWII.
